Two 'Grand Theft Auto' Titles Coming To PSN Next Week

"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories'" and "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" will both be available for download sometime next week on Sony's Playstation Network for the PS3. Both titles were previously released for the PSP and the PS2 in boxed form. This is the first time they'll land on the PS3 in any form. Each title will go for $9.99 a piece.

"Grand Theft Atuo: Liberty City Stories" was originally released in 2005 for the PSP and PS2 as a prequel to "Grand Theft Auto III," inhabiting the same city, Rockstar's version of New York City, but with a new set of missions. Same goes for "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories," only it was released in 2006 and it takes place in Rockstar's version of Miami, like "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" that came before it.

While more "Grand Theft Auto" is fun, more "Grand Theft Auto V" would be much, much more fun. Rockstar keeps the information drip going with new screenshots from earlier this week, but, due to a delay, it is unclear if "Grand Theft Auto V" will remain exclusively current-generation. Gamers are hopefully they'll at least port it to the announced PS4 and whatever Microsoft's next console will be.
