'Dying Light 2' Release Date, News & Updates: Techland Making the Title All Along? Team Keeping Answers Away?

"Dying Light 2" is an idea that many have thought of having for the longest time. Despite the hit parkour predecessor showing off great possibilities, what is known from the title is still scarce, let alone uncertain to say the least.

The game's Polish development team Techland may have been planning and plotting what could be the next big thing for "Dying Light," presumably in the form of "Dying Light 2." Such game is not all that Techland was known for and judging by the work the company put in the other titles, the continuity may not be too far away or behind.

According to Eurogamer, CEO Pawel Marchewka disclosed some time ago that "Warsaw" was given an ample amount of work by Techland, as well as one particular project that could hit their fancy. Marchewka, when asked about the potential of another "Dead Island" game, quickly swerved and said that "Dying Light" as well as "Dying Light 2" are more favored. If truth be told, PR Manager Anna Lada-Grodzicka added that the "Dying Light" brand is more important to them.

That being said, reports delivered that an unnamed project which still has not shed some silver lining has baffled fans. Marchewka has not been generous in the same manner as well, with him purely denying the suspicion that it is, indeed, "Dying Light 2." Furthermore, the company has worked on other titles that garnered massive fan bases all across the globe, such as "Hellraid" and "Call of Juarez" respectively.

Setting aside all other speculations, "Dying Light 2" is only one idea that the company has come to thinking, as Producer Tymon Smektala hinted the company's many ideas for a sequel. Marchewka, however, has kept a tight lid on what the company has been working, apparently teasing more that the anonymous project despite being an open-world, single and multiplayer mix could be the much-awaited second installment.

For the time being, "Dying Light" has over 8 million players, pirated at an excruciating 3 million times. Keep posted for more news and updates here at GamenGuide.
