‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Release Date, Gameplay, News & Update: New Location Revealed; ‘TES 6’ Set Outside of Tamriel? Gameplay, More Details

Despite Bethesda making it clear that "The Elder Scrolls 6" isn't happening soon, fans can't help but speculate that the game studios is somehow just keeping its plan secret as part of their marketing strategy. Some people actually believe that Bethesda is secretly developing the game. But no matter how much fans insist that it's the case, Bethesda comes back reiterating what it had said before - that nobody is working on the game at the moment.

Bethesda also told IGN in June that there will be bigger projects lined up in the future -two of them as big as "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim" and these will come out before the team will touch on "The Elder Scrolls 6." Bethesda has been repeating itself about "TES 6's" status but people just can't grasp the message. Nevertheless, speculations about the game continue to spread online.

According to speculations, "The Elder Scrolls 6" should feature one of the yet-to-be-discovered continents in the game, particularly the one that is home to the snake and tiger tribes -the Akavir. However, there are fans who believe that the next game won't be somewhere outside of Tamriel. So far, only a few provinces in Tamriel have been discovered so it's unlikely that the next installment will cover other continents.

If indeed "The Elder Scrolls 6" will focus more on Tamriel provinces, there are several candidates for the location of the next game. Tamriel comprises of Black Marsh, Skyrim, Cyrodiil, Hammerfell, High Rock, Elsweyr, Morrowind, Summerset Isle, and Valenwood. According to earlier reports, it's likely that Skyrim and Morrowind will not be featured in the upcoming game since these locations have already been used in previous installments.

As previously reported by NSEAVoice, Bethesda filed a patent for "Argonia," which is also known as Black Marsh and home to Argonians or the lizard folk. This suggests that "The Elder Scrolls 6" could be set in this Tamriel province. Then again, this hasn't been confirmed by the game studios. Development for "TES 6" hasn't even started yet so it's hard to tell what the game will actually bring to the table. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more updates.
