‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: How To Catch A Monster On Winter Season? Take Advantage Of Halloween Event Until Nov 1!

It was summer when Niantic released the phenomenal "Pokemon GO" that sent millions of players of different ages in the streets searching for Pikachu. Now, with winter season approaching, it might be a totally different story for the augmented reality game.

Will players be willing to brave the snow just to play "Pokemon GO?" Searching for monster creatures in summer is cool, but to walk in freezing cold streets is not.

Most games are not affected by the weather but Niantic's game encourages people to go out and play. In a report by GamenGuide, "Pokemon GO" is even related in prevention of obesity and Type 2 Diabetes.

There had been reports of players meeting accidents while playing "Pokemon GO," so Niantic has altered the settings that make catching those pocket monsters impossible if the speed is faster than fast walking. Having said that, playing "Pokemon GO" in a vehicle during winter may not be fun, or not possible at all.

Niantic has not announced any updates on how to play "Pokemon GO" during winter. Incense and lure modules are the only options a player can enjoy while staying indoors. While "Pokemon GO" Plus is another option, Forbes reported that Nintendo has under-produced this making it hardly accessible. Besides, it is not as exciting as the real game of searching and hounding monsters outdoor.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon GO" has something exciting for Halloween. The spawn rate of spooky creatures like Gastly and Hunter has increased until Nov 1. Other creatures included are Drowee, Golbat, Gengar, Hypno and Zubat.

"Pokemon GO" players will also take delight to know that their candies are doubled during the Halloween. Also, playing Buddy Pokemon will allow players earn candies four more times.

Do you think winter season will be a big threat to "Pokemon Go" players? Tell us what you think and stay tuned to GamenGuide.
