According to reports, the handset will come out with impressive specs and features as the company tries to create the most powerful smartphone ever for the 10th year anniversary of the most popular handheld device in the world. Now new reports have emerged suggesting that the new iPhone 8 will arrive with glass backed design, similar to that of the previous iteration, the iPhone 4S.

According to a report by Apple Insider, a reliable source has informed the publication that Apple is currently experimenting on a glass sandwich design for its upcoming iPhone 8 instead of the usual aluminum body. There are also speculations suggesting that the American tech giant is seriously planning on eliminating the traditional LCD screen for the iPhone 8, and use the AMOLED display technology, which has been the primary choice of screen on most top-tier smartphone from other manufacturers including Samsung.

Although Apple has yet to provide the official details on the development and release date of the upcoming iPhone 8, several rumors and speculations have already made it online. New rumors suggest that iPhone 8 will arrive in the market in three variations. According to a report by Nikkei, the three variants of the new iPhone 8 will differ in sizes - a base model with a 4.7-inch screen, a 5-inch screen model, and the 5.5-inch iPhone 8.

Meanwhile, tech fans are positive that it is only a matter of time before Apple will make an official announcement regarding the development and release date of the new iPhone 8.
