'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' Cheats, Tips & Tricks: 5 Quick Hacks to Get Your Campaign Started! More Secrets Revealed!

Being a huge and intricate game, it is quite challenging to actually go through "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." Having been over a year old already, some gamers still find it quite difficult to navigate the game. Here are five tips to get on early in the game and conquer "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain."

Track Down Enemies

Zooming in on an enemy will already tag them, and will allow you to track them even through thick walls. What is crucial though is that you should tag every single opponent in a given base. In "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," enemy movement is not predictable, so tracking them down is really essential. Upgrading binoculars and other recon equipment would be the most logical move here.

Interrogate

Always grab a local in "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." By that, it means that you should capture an enemy and beat him until he spits out valuable information. Rescuing the Russian interpreter early in the game is essential in juicing out information. You will then be able to get information like prisoner locations and resources. You can also track down other opponent locations through this technique.

Use Fulton

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" has the Fulton surface-to-air recovery system. This nifty device will whisk enemies up to the sky where he will be brought back to Mother Base. This could also be used to get machine guns, mortars, vehicles, and even cargo containers. This is beneficial in expanding the HQ, and also removes disabled enemies from the battlefield.

Take Advantage of Mother Base

The Mother Base in "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is one of its major features. However uninteresting it may seem, managing the Mother Base properly will be absolutely critical to your success. Retrieving more personnel means expanding the base for your gear. So to speak, more staff equal better stuff. Always keep an eye on the staff though to avoid trouble.

Travel Fast

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" has the most overlooked feature of having a fast-travel system. Clearing a map is very easy as it does not require unique transportation vehicles. Visiting at least two platforms (the orange platforms and invoices) will allow you to fast-travel between the designated places. The Mother Base also has a similar system.
