These past few weeks, the numbers of "Pokemon GO" players have been dropping. But, thanks to its Halloween event, which is doing great so far, the game suddenly increased its numbers of players after the it officially started.

According to a report from Forbes, the Halloween update of "Pokemon GO" is making a lot of money for Niantic. Reports say that after releasing the update, "Pokemon GO" instantly climbed the top charts of App Store. Players are hoping that Niantic will continue to bring events like this to entice more players to play "Pokemon GO."

The "Pokemon GO" Halloween update allows all the players to catch spooky Pokemons easily. Niantic increased the spawn rate of spooky Pokemons namely Cubone, Golbat, Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, Marowak, Meowth, Zubat, Hypno and Haunter. There are some players also noticed that Muk, Ekans, Kadabra and Alakazam spawns increased but it is not included in the official announcement of Niantic.

The "Pokemon GO" Halloween update also doubles the candies a player can obtain. Players can now get six candies in catching a Pokemon instead of three. Players will also get 2 candies if they transfer a certain Pokemon to the Professor. The candies a player will get in the Buddy System are also doubled, and the length of travel to obtain a candy from a Buddy Pokemon has been decreased.
