'Disney Infinity's' Toy Box Looks Promising, Especially With Wreck-It Ralph [TRAILER]

The latest trailer for "Disney Infinity,"the upcoming gaming platform that marries physical nfc-enabled toys with virtual adventures, all in the name of extreme profitability, shows off the gamer-focused toy box mode. A bit of a mix between "Minecraft" and "LittleBigPlanet," toy box mode lets up to four players online cooperate and fool around in a massive open setting, using unlocked toys to create game-like scenarios and playgrounds.

While different Disney universes are are on display, so are Wreck-It Ralph and Perry, who've only shown up in the Toy Box thus far.

Though the latest trailer is all about the gameplay, you can catch Pixar's John Lasseter getting all inspired about the game over here.

It's also worth mentioning the opening shot looks an awful lot like "Super Smash Bros." "Disney Infinity" is set for wide-release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Wii, PC and 3DS on August 18.
