'Rainbow Six Seige' DLC Release Date, News & Updates: 'Operation Red Crow' DLC Set to Be Unveiled This Month

For the last DLC of "Rainbow Six Siege," Ubisoft will be taking its first-person shooter video game to Japan. Fans of the game are excited to finally witness the new game and teasers are slowly coming one by one.

Dubbed Operation Red Crow, the final DLC of "Rainbow Six Siege" will introduce two Japanese characters along with the offering set in the said country. Ubisoft earlier posted an image on its official Twitter page teasing the coming of the DLC. The post was written in Japanese but translates to "the time has come."

Roadmap showed Japan

Players of the game are well aware that the roadmap for this year presented in 2015 showed Japanese flags for the final quarter of 2016. The plan, even last year, already showed that it was heading to Japan.

Map leak for 'Rainbow Six Siege'

Aside from this, a video of "Rainbow Six Siege's" map also circulated on a social media site. In a Twitter post, user JonKay20 shared a 2-minute video that toured viewers to the Japanese-set game. One of the locations seen on the vide was a floor on top of a Japan skyscraper.

Though the footage already showed what players can expect with the DLC's map, no clues were revealed on the operators of the game. Full details of the new DLC are expected to be given next month.

Official reveal

Ubisoft is set to reveal important information about the new DLC this November 13 which will coincide with the Rainbow 6 Pro League S3 Finals. Xbox One and PC gamers from Europe and North America will battle it out in this event to win $150,000.

"Rainbow Six Siege's" last DLC was made available last August 2. Xbox One, PS4 and PC players were able to get access to this previous DLC.
