Nvidia's GTX 1080 Ti Release Date, Specs, News & Update: January Launching with AMD Radeon RX 490 Confirmed? Specs & Features Revealed

Nvidia had already released several graphics card in 2016, and despite the company's continued silence with regard to their future plans, several reports have emerged suggesting that it is already planning to launch the highly anticipated Nvidia's GTX 1080 Ti in January 2017. There are speculations suggesting that the upcoming GPU will be presented during next year's Consumer Electronics Show or CES in Las Vegas.

Although Nvidia has yet to provide the official details of the development and release of GTX 1080 Ti, several reports have surfaced online revealing its specs and features. Rumor has it that the new graphics card will be powered by the company's Pascal P104-400-A1, which basically means that users will get high-definition frames per second.

Despite its amazing features, the new Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is expected to arrive in the market cheaper than the Pascal Titan X. However, tech experts believe that the hardware unit will be more expensive than the newly unveiled GTX 1050 Ti, which has a price tag of $140. Nonetheless, another report claims that the new GTX 1080 Ti will be powered by GP 102; however, this has yet to be confirmed by Nividia.

In another report by Digital Trends, the upcoming Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti will carry 3328 CUDA cores, which is lower than the impressive Titan X. The new graphics card will also have 208 TMU, which is also a lower number compared to Titan X's 224 TMUs.

Meanwhile, the GTX 1080 Ti will have 8GB GFFR5X with 256-bit memory and is expected to have a memory clock speed of 1,251MHz. The new GPU is going to compete against AMD's first Vega-based GPU, the Radeon RX 490.

As of the moment, tech freaks will have to wait for Nvidia to announce the release date of the new GTX 1080 Ti. The company is expected to make an official statement anytime soon.
