Bethesda Announces 'The Evil Within' From 'Resident Evil' Creator Shinji Mikami [UPDATE]

UPDATE: The trailer for the game is below.

After a week or so of grueling live-action teasers, Bethesday Softworks finally revealed its latest project, The Evil Within, from the mind of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.

As the first game under Mikami's Tango Gameworks studio, The Evil Within returns the famed creator to the survival horror genre, according to IGN in today's reveal.

Mikami's left the Resident Evil franchise after Resident Evil 4, moving on to complete the final products at the now-defunct Clover Studios and Vanquish for Platinum games. Tango Gameworks was acquired by ZeniMax Media, parent company to Bethesday Softworks. In short, Mikami knows how to move when the gettin' is good.

While not much is known about The Evil Within other than that big name behind it and that it's coming to PS3, Xbox 360, PC and next-gen consoles in 2014. IGN is holding on to the teaser reveal trailer at the link provided above.
