WATCH: Mass Effect Andromeda Gameplay Latest Trailer Teases Plot

Publisher Electronic Arts and BioWare have released a new trailer for the Mass Effect Andromeda game this week, they also announced a reward program dubbed as Andromeda Initiative for fans of the game for their never ending support for them and Mass Effect as a whole. The trailer is narrated by Ryder's father which served as a teaser for a possible plot of the game.

Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay trades the previous universe of Commander Shepard and his nemesis The Reapers, for new faces of the characters and heroes bringing players into a new, unfamiliar world as players search for humanity's new home.

Going deeper,  Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay sources indicate that the game takes place after the events of Mass Effect 3. In Mass Effect 3, the previous main character, Commander Shepard's exploits of defending the Earth against the Reapers. According to a tweet  from BioWare producer Michael Gamble, Ryder is reportedly a rookie explorer tasked with exploring the Andromeda galaxy's Helius sector in search for a new home for humanity.  

In an interview with game studio producer Aaryn Flynn, Mass Effect Andromeda's new game will be four times the size of the previous games featuring hundreds of solar systems that are seamlessly connected, allowing players to fly through space, drive the land vehicle (Mako) and explore the terrain on foot without long load times vastly improving its gameplay. The interview also revealed Ryder's new ship called Tempest.

BioWare also stated that Mass Effect Andromeda's gameplay and main character Ryder won't be your traditional character. His choices will be driven on the choices of the players. Mass Effect 4 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC in March 2017. Players can join the Andromeda Initiative as well as learn more about the program by signing up to the Mass Effect website. Mass Effect 4 Andromeda is expected to hit the stores as early as March 23,2017.
