'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, News & Update: New Trailer Released, Narrator Is Ryder's Father? What 600 Years Is He Talking About?

A new teaser video of the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been released on Nov. 1, 2016. Users are excited when it was revealed that the narration of the trailer was made by the father of Ryder, who was the main character of the game.

This revelation was made by Mac Walters, the creative director of the game, in response to a question on his Twitter account. However, the name of Ryder's father was not revealed, but he only spoke about the creepy "Andromeda Initiative", though the exact nature was really not disclosed.

Ryder's father talks about the future 600 years from now. He said that there is a need for you to prepare yourself as you will be somewhere beyond the Milky Way, in the stars that are yet unknown and a place where dangers are yet unseen.

Some people who have watched the trailer are wondering about the remark of "600 years". Some questions whether or not such is set after "Mass Effect 3". This question was asked to Michael Gamble, the producer of the game, on twitter. However he did not give away. Instead he said, "That, we did not say :)"

Another thing that makes it mysterious is the real concept of the "Andromeda Initiative". Of course, it is something that players could sign up for. Besides, according to a report in Gamespot, Gamble did not reveal any specifics. Instead, he said that he will sign up for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" so that he will know.

When you sign up to the official website of the "Andromeda Initiative", there are speculations that you can avail of "special training opportunities" that could also be used as a reference to beta.

According to Gamesradar, you can play as a male or female Ryder. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" by EA is said to be released before the end of March 2017.
