NBA Preview: Kevin Durant Boost Golden State Warriors Confidence For Finals Title; Cleveland Cavaliers Might be Ready For A Long Haul

In the NBA league, the regular season is compose on 82 games for each team and stretches out for a long period of time from October to June. For a NBA fan's perspective, two teams will battle it out for the finals, and that will be the Golden State Warrior and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Predictions For The NBA Regular Season 2016-2017

The Golden State Warriors are undoubtedly the super team in the league right now with forward Kevin Durant leading their arsenal and Superstar players, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. The Warriors, in the previous season, achieved a milestone in the league winning 73 games in the regular season and advancing to the Finals.

However, the unforgettable seven-game battle between the Cleveland Cavaliers, which resulted to a loss to LeBron James has proven too much for the Golden State. But with Kevin Durant on the team, the Golden State Warriors would possibly win 73 games again this season as The Washington Post reports.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the defending champions for this year's regular season and has still the top three players in the team, namely LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. However, LeBron James is turning 32 on December 30 this year and has been playing hard ever since he has been drafted way back in 2003.

Maybe this time around, James will show symptoms of slowing down because of his age and will not be able to defend the title. However, in a report from the official page of the NBA, LeBron James was named Player of the Week along with Russell Westbrook from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In the publication, James shows his dominance as the Cavaliers forward had a triple-double on a game against the New York Knicks, a victory with the Raptors, and a 105-99 win over the Magic. This is an indication that James hasn't slowed down and still up of his game. Stay tuned to Gamenguide for more NBA news and updates!
