"Huawie Mate 9" is built with a 5.9 inch display with an all-out metallic feature. The unit's resolution is packed with full HD (1,920x1,080 pixels) which is a major leap below the 2,560x4,440 pixel resolution of the Note 7.

On the other hand, "Huawei Mate 9" is powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 processor, which the company said to be the "the fastest processor ever built". Huawei also claims that it is jammed packed with tons of software adjustments to keep the device run smoothly throughout the time.

The "Huawei Mate 9" is equipped with Android's latest OS 7.0 Nougat, so it is actually an up-to-date device, but the operating system is also with Huawei's Emotion UI 5.0 - so users can finally get rid their app drawer.

According to CNET, there is one element that makes "Huawei Mate 9" glamorous aside from its huge screen; it is its dual-lens camera that we have been seeing around on the latest phone units. The phone is built with a 20 MP monochrome (black & white) lens and a 12MP RGB (color) one.

This feature enables the "Huawei Mate 9" to snap data from these two lenses for unimaginable photo quality. The rear camera has an f/2.2 aperture which is actually similar to Huawei P9 and eventually common for a smarphone camera.

Furthermore, "Huawei Mate 9" has optical image stabilization (OIS) and can take videos in 4K resolution. On the front camera, the unit is powered with an 8MP camera.

"Huawei Mate 9" has a battery of 4000mAh which similar to Mate 8's battery but it is much larger than the devices in most phones. The device also uses the fast-charging technology of USB-C port which makes the device fully charge in a couple of hours as per reported by The Verge.

"Huawei Mate 9" is also paired with Porsche Design in a finite time version of the unit. The device is also equipped with a 256GB memory, 6GB of RAM and a higher-resolution display.
