AT&T's LG Optimus G Pro Specs And Image Revealed [LEAK]

LG has a media event scheduled for May 1 in New York where the South Korean consumer electronics giant is expected to announce the U.S. version of its flagship smartphone LG Optimus G Pro. However, with less than a week left until the scheduled unveiling, images and specifications for the phone are starting to leak out.

The leaked image in question is of an AT&T version of the smartphone and the spec list of the U.S. bound Optimus G Pro are mostly in line with its Korean sibling which was unveiled at MWC 2013 a few months back. The leak comes from @evleaks, a noted source for leaked information on upcoming Android devices.

The U.S. version of the Optimus G Pro, much like the Korean model, will come with a 5.5-inch form factor and will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset, 2GB of RAM, a massive 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSDXC to 64GB), remarkable 2.1-megapixel front-facing and 13-megapixel rear cameras, 3,140mAh battery and will have Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology.

Interestingly, the AT&T variant of Optimus G Pro employs a Full HD IPS panel as opposed to a True HD-IPS+ in the Korean version. "Additionally, and unsurprisingly, the device's radios have been tweaked, with the AT&T G Pro now supporting the carrier's flavor of LTE (700/1700 MHz), HSPA+21 (850/1900/2100 MHz) and quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)" Engadget reports.

The AT&T model is expected ship the smartphone with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean enhanced by the usual host of LG software tricks.
