‘No Man’s Sky’ Patch Release Date, Latest News & Update: Sony Chief Still Confident Hello Games Will Rebound

The much-needed lift that “No Man’s Sky” need has yet to come out despite reservations it could save the sagging hopes of Hello Games. Sony is someone who believes that the ambitious space exploration game can still rise to the occasion and all that may depend on the tweaks they have planned.

As mentioned in a previous post, Sony president Shuhei Yoshida that part of “No Man’s Sky” downfall was their poor PR strategy. With no person actually assigned to manage the promotional strategies, he believes that the company can still rebound and turn things around.

The same sentiment is shared by another Sony executive, Shawn Laden. He recently appeared live on YouTube where he touched on several matters. As far as “No Man’s Sky” is concerned, he is pretty confident that Hello Games will eventually achieve its “incredible vision”, Dual Shockers reported.

Laden touched on how “No Man’s Sky” offered a unique concept of generated worlds that has never been done before and singled out how Hello Games only had a small team of six people trying to fulfill the vision for the space exploration game. "They're still updating it. They're trying to get it closer enough or closer to what their vision was," he said via Game Spot. "I played a lot when it came out."

He adds that with the task at hand, all things don’t usually go according to plan. But in the case of “No Man’s Sky”, there is still hope looming over the horizon and all that falls on the patches that Sean Murray and company are working on.

Until the “No Man’s Sky” patch comes out in the open, it will be interesting if Hello Games is doing enough to win back the confidence of disappointed gamers. "No Man's Sky" launched in August for the PS4 and the PC but saw a lot abandon it due to instability and recurring content.
