‘Destiny 2’ Release Date, News and Update: 2017 Launch Date Confirmed; PC Version in the Works, Sequel Better than 'Destiny'! Gameplay Details

"Destiny 2" is one of the most highly anticipated video games that are expected to arrive in 2017, and although the game developer has yet to make the title official, fans and critics have already shared their own predictions on what to expect once it comes out in the market. According to the latest report, the much-awaited sequel of 2014's online-only first-person shooter video game will finally come out next year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, rumors are rife that game developer Bungie could also launch a PC version of the game in the same year.

Nonetheless, the company along with game publisher Activision has yet to confirm these reports but Bungie assured all the fans of the franchise that "Destiny 2" is definitely going to arrive in 2017. According to a report by Gamespot, the announcement was made during a recent earnings call by the game developer.

According to Eric Hirshberg, the Activision Publishing CEO, "Destiny 2" is currently in the works and its slated 2017 release is going to happen. Although he did not provide any more details with regard to its development and release date, Hirshberg said that they are working hard to make sure "Destiny 2" lives up to its expectations.  The goal of the game developer and publisher is to make sure players will continue to show their interest in the series as it is believed to be better than the first game, "Destiny."

In a report by Forbes, "Destiny 2" has become a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for the last couple of years now. One of the most interesting rumors that caught the attention of many players is the possibility of Bungie developing a PC version of "Destiny 2."
