‘Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ Blade Wolf DLC Details: Arriving This May

The third DLC pack for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Konami's recently released hack-and-slash action title, will be called Blade Wolf the company says.

Blade Wolf will see players take up the role of the robot dog LQ-84i along with Raiden, the protagonist, during the main story-line. LQ-84i will have a number of characteristics and unique abilities that will change the gameplay. Players will now be able to experience the side-story from LQ-84i’s point of view, alongside a newly included in-game boss, according to Polygon.

“Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement’s leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i’s story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle,” the description states.

Blade Wolf is currently set for an Xbox 360 release in Europe on May 14 for 560 Microsoft Points or $6.99, and May 15 for PlayStation 3 for $6.99. Konami had already revealed last week that the DLC would be released in Japan on May 9.
