After several years of waiting, Rockstar Games has finally announced the "Red Dead Redemption 2" but it is only playable for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the game might be released few months after its official launch. Several fans are asking would "Red Dead Redemption 2" be playable through the new Nintendo Switch.

According to a report from Inquisitr, Rockstar Games' latest addition to "Red Dead Redemption 2" killer IP Western series was designed for mainstream consoles and controllers. That's why, it wouldn't be available for Nintendo Switch. For now, Rockstar has no plans to release it for PC either.

One of the main problems in "Red Dead Redemption 2" availability in Nintendo Switch is its controls. Reports say it is like porting a Mortal Kombat game to a smartphone. Players would have to see their fingers on screen all the time and players probably won't see the action in the game.

Playing an open world kind of game like "Red Dead Redemption 2" with the new Nintendo Switch would totally stretch its controls. A lot of games in present also depend on several buttons to handle the full scope action of the game.

Because Rockstar Games own the highest rated games of all time like the "Grand Theft Auto 4" and "Grand Theft Auto 5," several fans also have high expectations for the "Red Dead Redemption 2." According to a report from GamingBolt, "RDR 2" has a strong performance as far as review scores go.

Reports also say that most of the games of Rockstar have a metascore of more than 83. The game like "GTA 5" has a metascore of 97 and it is the highest rated game of all time. Reports suggest that the phenomenal game "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be loved by fans and it would have a Metascore above 92 or 93.
