Stephen Curry set a new record for most 3-point field goals in an NBA game by draining 13 of it to beat the New Orleans Pelicans 116-106. He broke the previous record of 12 that Kobe Bryant set in 2003, Donyell Marshall in 2005, and himself last season.
Curry shot from everywhere, making 16 of 25 for the game, 13 of 17 from 3-point range, which resulted in 46 points. The Warriors needed their top offensive weapons to be at their best as the winless Pelicans kept knocking at the door. Kevin Durant scored 22 points, Klay Thompson had 24, and Draymond Green tallied 12 boards and 11 dimes . The Pelicans, who are now 0-7 in the regular season, had another big night from superstar Anthony Davis who finished the night with 33 points and 13 rebounds.

The back-to-back MVP is arguably the best shooter in this generation and even the legends would agree. Ray Allen said that Stephen Curry is on his way to becoming arguably the best ever. Last year, Hall of Famer Larry Bird even went as far as saying that Curry is the best player in the NBA right now. Even Kobe Bryant thinks that Curry is the hardest player to guard.
