Jennifer Aniston News & Update: Brad Pitt Ex-Wife, “Friends” Actress, Fed-Up With Tabloid Journalism; 'Office Christmas Party' Breaking Some Ribs This December!

Jennifer Aniston, once and for all, stood up for herself and demanded responsible journalism from the media.

People have grown to love Jennifer Aniston from her portrayal of the spoiled-brat-yet-lovable Rachel Green from "Friends." People just love her and so do the journalists' lens.

Following the divorce of her ex-husband Brad Pitt to Angelina Jolie, Aniston was subjected to numerous fabricated and sensationalized stories. And this is the kind of journalism that Aniston has been fed up of.

"I'm fed up with the sports-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of "journalism," the "First Amendment" and "celebrity news,"" wrote Aniston in an open letter published at the Huffington Post.

Opening up more about the "stalking and objectification" that Jennifer Aniston have experienced over the decades, she divulged in Marie Claire December cover that she has become tired of the shaming.

"My marital status has been shamed; my divorce status was shamed; my lack of a mate had been shamed," Aniston said. She further pointed out that even her nipples haves been shamed by tabloid news also.

Aniston goes on to say, "It's like, why are we only looking at women through this particular lens of picking us apart? Why are we listening to it? I just htought: I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human."

Meanwhile, Aniston expressed her uncertainty over what is coming to her next or what she is going to do after "Office Christmas Party." Fans will get to see Aniston in this upcoming Christmas comedy film that is set to hit big theaters on December 9.

Jennifer Aniston will portray a somewhat vindictive and strong woman, CEO of Zenotek Carol Venstone, who threatens to close the branch where her hard-partying brother Clay (T.J. Miller) is working. Other stars in "Office Christmas Party" include Olivia Munn, Jillian Bell, and Kate McKinnon to name the few. Stay tuned for more updates!
