Now, it is clear that Hello Games was working on the update and keeping fans talking. Major changes to the game are expected and reports suggest that Sean Murray is working on the multi-player component of the game. However, Express reported earlier that "No Man's Sky" was not meant to be a multiplayer game but full of shared experiences.
Hello Games went through a social media nightmare when its Twitter account was hacked. A tweet reading "No Man's Sky was a mistake" was posted by the hacker. Even emails from Sean Murray's account reflected similar sentiment. Media built up on the heat and soon things were about to blow out of proportion when Murray clarified that it was the work of a hacker.
Hello Games is also being investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) as many players complained against the developer's promotional tactics for the PC and PS4 game. Moreover, "No Man's Sky" Steam Store page was heavily criticized for using images that weren't representative of the final release.
Hopefully, things are going to be different from now on after the "No Man's Sky" update releases. Even though Murray and his tea, has gone silent for some time, Sony's Shawn Layden has hinted at massive changes to the game at the Live with YouTube Gaming. He also hinted that base building is on the cards.
