Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" is just days away from its release and the build-up has been amazing up to now. Reports suggest that the game will continue adapting to the fictional version of real-time places. The sequel will be set in San Francisco. The predecessor was set in Chicago.
"Watch Dogs 2" developers involved real-life hackers for their ideas and did not leave anything to chance. Fans are excited as the concept is coming from the minds of real hackers. Marcus Holloway, the protagonist of the game, will be on a mission to deactivate the city's surveillance system.
"Watch Dogs 2" game will get a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch on Nov. 15. The PC release will happen a fortnight from then. Ubisoft has stated that the game is a far-cry from the predecessor. The developer has done an incredible job in promoting the game. It has created a massive hype surrounding the game and has already amassed a fan following.
Ubisoft has also collaborated with Dutch musician Oliver Helden for the "Watch Dogs 2" track that draws inspiration from the game's elements. Moreover, the track is said to premier in Google's Nov. 11 event. The live stream event will be happening in Central London.
"Watch Dogs 2" players are aware of the hacker lifestyle and Helden's track "Good Life" will capture just that. Fans can watch the first look of the son on YouTube. Third-person shooter games have long been in demand and Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" is no exception. However, it's definitely not an exact copy.
The hype is building up though Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said last week that preorders are lower than what Ubisoft expected, writes Game Spot. However, the developer team is very optimistic and believe that "Watch Dogs 2" will do extremely well when released.
