'The Last Guardian' Latest News & Update: PlayStation 4 Pro 4K Support on the Way! More Details Here!

Ahead of the December release of "The Last Guardian," it has been announced that PlayStation 4 Pro 4K support is on the way for the game. SIE's "The Last Guardian" is 10 years in the making and is being highly anticipated by fans all over the world.

"The Last Guardian" is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 just in time for the holidays, and fans are reeling with excitement to know that PlayStation 4 Pro 4K support is on the way as well. Eurogamer reports that the 4K support on the way also promises "minor performance improvements" on Sony's latest console. While specifics have not been unveiled by the studio yet, we do know that the 4K support on the way will arrive via a patch.

In other "The Last Guardian" news, creative director Fumito Ueda recently spoke with The Verge about the upcoming title. He shared that despite the lengthy process it took to create the game, he said that it turned out the way he envisioned it on day one. "The Last Guardian" has a long history and was supposed to come out on the PlayStation 3 back in 2011, but was delayed due to the release of the PlayStation 4.

"The Last Guardian" follows the story of a young boy and his feathered friend, Trico. The game combines elements of action, adventure, and puzzles to enable gamers to solve problems and progress in the game as a third person. Ueda promised that gamers will find "relationship growth" between the main character and Trico as the game progresses.

Ueda even promised, "key moments where you as the player get emotionally involved with Trico." "The Last Guardian" is set for a December release on PlayStation 4. For PlayStation 4 Pro gamers, worry not as 4K support on the way now for this upcoming game, to be released on December 6. Check out the trailer below.
