'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, News & Update: Better Guilds, Improved Combat Expected in New Elder Scrolls Installment; More Gameplay Details
Apart from the release of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition," fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise haven't stepped foot in Tamriel since 2011. As such, news of the release of an upcoming "The Elder Scrolls 6" has been widely anticipated by video gamers who look forward to another season of dragon-slaying.
While Bethesda has yet to confirm production for a sixth installment in the franchise, they did assure fans that should they be making "The Elder Scrolls 6" right now, they'd be making sure of the quality and improvement in the game. Given these, what can fans expect from the popular video game? Here's everything you need to know about "The Elder Scrolls 6": its features, new upgrades, anticipated changes, release dates and more.
New features and changes to expect in 'Elder Scrolls 6'
Studio marketing vice president Peter Hines once revealed that Bethesda isn't rushing to finish "The Elder Scrolls 6" yet, especially since they still have two large projects in the pipeline that's sure to excite gamers as well. Even so, players can already expect that the studio is making sure to introduce a lot more elements and changes into the game to make the wait worthwhile.
Reports suggested that Bethesda may be taking its cues from another popular game: "Fallout 4." It's possible that the studio would adapt several of what makes "Fallout 4" popular into "The Elder Scrolls 6," such as the expansion of the Settlement and Workshop buildings.
Better guilds, improved combat
Two other things to look forward to in "The Elder Scrolls 6" are improved guilds in the Tamriel region as well as improved combat. It's possible that "The Elder Scrolls 6" may forego less melee combats as opposed to more glorious quest battles worth the player's time and challenge.
