Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC Released For PS3, PC

The former Xbox 360 exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC pack is now available for PlayStation 3 and PC. As the second DLC add-on coming to PlayStation Network, it adds four new multiplayer maps and a new zombie game mode to the popular shooter. The new DLC is priced at $14.99.

The pack brings in the Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio multiplayer maps in addition to Mob of the Dead, a prohibition-era Zombies mode map that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz.

Treyarch explained the four multiplayer maps as:

 -  Magma: Set within a modern Japanese village, volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.

 - Encore: Taking place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival, Encore leaves numerous opportunities for run-and-gun, close quarters combat.

 - Vertigo: A futuristic high-rise mega-structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.

 - Studio: A contemporary re-imagining of "Firing Range," the fan-favorite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. "Studio" is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.

Uprising was released for Xbox 360 on April 16 and Activision is yet to make a formal announcement on the release of Black Ops 2's DLC for Nintendo's latest console Wii U.
