There are still no official statements from THQ regarding the release date of "Darksiders 3", and fans of the action role-playing hack and slash game may have to endure the holidays without playing it. "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" has also been delayed in its release, but most say it will be released before December.
It has been six years since anything from "Darksiders" has been seen, so fans are eager to see how "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" has improved from its earlier counterpart. Mobile N Apps reports that the storyline of the original, which has been praised by critics, will be kept, but this time will have even better graphics. What should we expect in "Darksiders 3"?
Mark Hamill, who was the voice of the Watcher in the first "Darksiders" will also be back. Fans are now wondering if Hamill, most famously known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" movie, will be back for "Darksiders 3".
The highly anticipated "Darksiders 3" is something that fans have been waiting since the release of its predecessor. This time, rumors abound that the next horseman that players will get to play will be Strife. The first installments had War and Death as the horsemen, so there are only two more Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse that have not been played, Strife and Fury.
Earlier this year THQ Nordic executive producer Reinhard Pollice expressed his interest in making "Darksiders 3", and that releasing "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" is just the first step" in ensuring the continuity of the franchise. In that interview though, he claimed that there is still no talk about making "Darksiders".
That did not stop fans of the franchise from claiming that "Darksiders 3" will be coming soon though. Even though "Darksiders 3" may not be released this year yet, players can still comfort themselves knowing that "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" will be coming before December.
