"Left 4 Dead 2" has been released for a couple of years now with no follow up of the franchise whatsoever. However, there has been some development in the past days that Turtle Rock Studios and Valve are working on a new zombie-shooter game.
Possible 'Left 4 Dead 3' Game In 2017?
Since there are no official announcement on "Left 4 Dead 3" release date, fans of the First Person Shooter zombie game are thrilled to see what's next for the franchise. News broke out that game developers are working on "Left 4 Dead 3" and some rumors state that it could be released in 2017.
Rumors suggest that "Left 4 Dead 3" will have a change in number of players to be controlled, adding 2 survivors in a total of 6. Others also speculate that "Left 4 Dead 3" could only have 3 survivors, but fans point out that it could affect the proportional balance of the game as the franchise is always designed for 4 players.
However, "Left 4 Dead 3" seems to be an impossible game title to happen when co-founder of Turtle Rock Games, Phil Robb admitted that the "Left 4 Dead" game franchise is currently owned by Valve. Robb added that Valve has gone to another direction and the game developer will not go back for a potential "Left 4 Dead 3" development title.
"Left For Dead" DLC Dam It Campaign Release
Although, fans may never experience a "Left 4 Dead 3" in the near future, Valve announced a DLC for the original "Left 4 Dead" game, which features the "Left 4 Dead" Dam it campaign. The "Left 4 Dead" Dam it has survival maps and will also fill in the gap between the Dead Air and Blood Harvest campaigns.
Valve stated that he DLC for the previous game is the chance for "Left 4 Dead" fans to complete the story of the first title. "Left 4 Dead" Dam it DLC is free to download all around the world.
