In the recent episodes of "South Park", one episode has to be re-written quickly to reflect the incoming President of the United States, Donald Trump. Just like most people, the series initially thought Hillary Clinton will win the election so they had to quickly correct the script before the episode aired.
The episode is now titled "Biggest Election Upset in the US History" and aired last Wednesday, November 9. The episode was supposed to be titled "The Very First Gentleman" wherein the episode plans to tackle the election results. Now the new episode has been edited and is called "Oh Jeez" in the episode trailer. The teaser shows everyone talking about the newly elected president but none of them mentions Trump's name but has been quoted for his favorite campaign line "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I sure am excited. America's going to be great again". Afterwards, Randy Marsh is seen asking his family if they're excited with the new president and his family answers negatively. Shelly, his daughter, is heard saying "This country is going to suck for four years."
Towards the end of the trailer, Randy tells his daughter, "Oh come on Shelly. We've learned that women can be anything- except for president." The next day, the spokesperson of Comedy Central said in an interview that while Trump's victory came really fast, their writers also worked until date.
"South Park" is an adult animated sitcom created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker for TV Network, Comedy Central. The show features four naughty boys namely Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick and Eric Cartman and their life in the town of Colorado. The show is said to be similar to The Simpsons but has a bigger cast and is intended for mature audiences.
