"Half Life 3" is one of the most highly anticipated game sequels to be launched. But, until now, Valve hasn't released any official announcements regarding its plans for "Half Life 3." The game has been long overdue and fans have been waiting for it for several years. Fans are very eager to know even just a little bit of information for "Half Life 3."

Recent reports claim that Valve might be working for "Half Life 3" discreetly. A recent update in DOTA 2 contains a code that says "HLVR." This automatically hinted fans that the code means Half Life Virtual Reality and, by the time "Half Life 3" would be launched, it would have a VR support. Some say working secretly for the game sequel might be Valve's strategy to surprise gamers and avid fans of the game by the time it is ready.

But, according to reports, Chet Faliszek, the "Half Life 3" VR development representative of Valve denied the claims that the game would really have a VR support. Valve representative also said that any game that will incorporate Virtual Reality will take so much time to develop and, because of that, Valve is not considering VR Support for "Half Life 3" at the moment.

The first "Half Life" game was launch way back in 1998 for windows PC. Rumors claim that "Half Life 3" would finally be launch in 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game. The game might also be packed with some cool features like a 4K HD display.

Some rumors say that Gordon Freeman will remain as the protagonist of "Half Life 3." But, there is no any hint about the game's new storyline. The "Half Life 3" game is expected to hit the top charts of most played games by the time it will be launched. Stay tuned to GameNGuide to know the latest news and updates for "Half Life 3."
