Xbox Scorpio is reportedly set on becoming the most powerful upgrade version of the Xbox One. The console is also said to be more powerful than the Sony PS4 Pro. The upcoming console is slated to officially launch in 2017.
The PS4 Pro is said to be a high-end, upgraded version of the PS4 but Microsoft is also slated to launch a more powerful version of their own gaming console. The Xbox head Phil Spencer reportedly noted that the Xbox Scorpio will be VR-ready by the holiday season of 2017, with a specific release date to be announced soon. In the meantime, the PS4 Pro may be expected in November 10 as the console of the year.
The Xbox Scorpio is expected to boast supreme performance as both the Xbox and Microsoft have reportedly confirmed that there will be no other console that will be launched in at least two or more years after the release of the Xbox Scorpio. On that note, the Xbox Scorpio is believed to be 43 percent more powerful than the upcoming PS4 Pro, according to report. In addition, Spencer also noted that VR technology is still at an experimental stage which lead to speculation that something more intense was in store for the Xbox Scorpio.
Meanwhile, while the Xbox Scorpio is rumored to roll out at over $399, experts believe that Microsoft should sell it for a lower price. Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter reportedly talked about the pricing of the PS4 Pro that is slated to come at $399. This is said to be apt considering it boast 4K rendering and visual enhancements.
The Xbox Scorpio, on the other hand promised true native 4K gaming sans compromises. Spencer was noted that although the Scorpio will be a premium product, the pricing should not be a problem. Pachter also believes that if Microsoft would sell the Scorpio for $399, the PS4 Pro may just enjoy a price markdown of $349 the following week so that any figure above $399, would be suicide, WCCFTech reported.
