Roccat is best known for making solid gaming accessories such as a frameless keyboard and a combo keyboard-and-mousepad perfect for gamers who don't want to leave the couch. Its newest product is a pair of lightweight gaming headphones with a dual-mic, the Roccat Cross.

The Roccat Cross has a low weight design for only 185 grams and sports 50 mm neodymium magnet driver units. Its key feature is the option of switching mics which includes an in-line mic that is built into the lead for mobile and the other one uses a boom-arm for PC.

According to Roccat, the Cross has an unmatched audio quality and is especially designed for gamers who want to use the same headphones while gaming with a PC or console at home or those who are gaming on the go with a phone or tablet. These mics are attached to the unit's left ear cup via anti-tangle cables.

Roccat explained that they want to deliver a seamless transition to gamers. "As gamers ourselves, Roccat understands that times have changed and gaming has evolved. Gaming has gone multi-platform and become ubiquitous. Gamers want a refined, fluid experience that they can enjoy everywhere rather than awkwardly swapping between expensive peripherals that are limited to a single device," Roccat said.

According to Kitguru, the Cross has an understated black design which means that it isn't too flashy with memory foam earpads that's comfortable for anyone wearing it. It also offers high-quality gaming experience across gaming platforms such as PC, Mac, Mobile, PS4 and Xbox.

"That's why we developed the Cross specifically for you, not your device. The Cross is the multiplatform over-ear stereo gaming headset that's equally at home on your PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One, as it is when you're on the go with your mobile device," Roccat added. The Roccat Cross will hit stores on Dec. 8 for €/$69.99, according to The Verge.
