Call of Duty: Ghosts Confirmed For PlayStation 4

Infinity Ward confirms that Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be released on PlayStation 4 in addition to the PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

The developer has cleared the air of confusion about the availability of the latest instalment in the Call of Duty series for PS4 as its unveiling coincided with Microsoft's Xbox One reveal. "Yes, we'll be releasing #CODGhosts on both platforms #PS3 #PS4," Infinity Ward replied to a fan's query on its official Twitter account.

Activision community manager Dan Amrich later reiterated the confirmation on his blog, One of Swords where he said, "Fear not! Infinity Ward has confirmed, via Twitter, that Call of Duty: Ghosts will not only be coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, but PlayStation 4 as well."

Meanwhile, Infinity Ward revealed that development of Call of Duty: Ghosts was assisted by Activision's Raven Software and Neversoft. "Now that our reveal is live, we wanted to give special thanks to @RavenSoftware & @Neversoft for their support in developing #CODGhosts," the developer tweeted.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will hit stores on November 5, 2013, According to the publisher's recent announcement, the game will be launched on Xbox One at an unannounced date and will receive all DLC before other platforms as timed exclusives.
