‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ & ‘Death Stranding’ Creator Hideo Kojima Partnering with Microsoft? Experts Believe It’s a Hoax

If reports are to be believed, the creator of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," Hideo Kojima, has had an epic fallout with Sony and hence the company has abandoned his latest title "Death Stranding." If this is true, the game will not be released on PlayStation 4.

Moreover, major modifications are reportedly being made to the game to make it stable on new platforms such as Xbox One and PC. However, despite rumors of the clash between Kojima and Sony, many believe that they are not true due to lack of details on the issue. Even Kojima does not seem to be worried or has not reacted after reports surfaced on Sony's decision to drop "Death Stranding." Right after rumors of a rift surface online, there were many who stated that Sony and Kojima are still going strong.

Sony has created a strong hype by announcing its partnership with Kojima, the "Metal Gear" franchise creator to bring "Death Stranding" to life. According to reports, the "Metal Gear Solid V" game's episode 51 got dropped due to scheduling and budget problems. Hence, players were left frustrated because of the unfinished ending. When the game released, players were treated to Diamond Dogs looking for Eli, Big Boss' clone. There is also a fight against Metal Gear Sahelanthropus and Eli. The game is now available on PS4 and Xbox One.

Reports on the rift stated that Kojima is currently making "Death Stranding" more fitting for Microsoft's Xbox One. It was also reported that Kojima is transforming his works in such a way that they would not be playable on PS4 anymore, reported MobiPicker.

This is not the first time Kojima has been dragged into a controversy. Gaming experts believe the relationship is still intact and "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" and "Death Stranding" are still top games that fans love to play.
