Capcom is looking to double its "Resident Evil" sales with the release of "Resident Evil: Biohazard" on Jan. 24, 2017. The developer believes the game will sell over four million copies due to the game's controversial content and gripping storyline.

"Dead Rising 4" sold two million copies and as per PlayStation Lifestyle, Capcom will release four million game units to the public and intends to sell all of them by March 2017. The multi-million Japanese franchise is absolutely confident about the "Resident Evil: Biohazard" game's success.

It has been reported that "Resident Evil: Biohazard" players won't possess any super-skills to enemies. Its highly immersive gameplay and focus on escape and pursuit will seal the deal for Capcom. There will be more suspense than players can imagine. Thus, players will be treated as normal people in the game who have to run, hide, get chased and get trapped.

The "Resident Evil: Biohazard" plot will pick up from where "Resident Evil 6" ended. The game will follow the main character Ethan who will be lead to a mysterious plantation in Louisiana. The door to the horror world will open and unleash hell.

As per PSU, Ethan will have to survive numerous onslaughts by mutant creatures and also the immortal members of the Baker family and ultimately find his missing wife. The "Resident Evil: Biohazard" game will be released on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The entire game will also be available on PlayStation VR. However, it will be available on PS4 for 12 months.

As per Gaming Bolt, creators of "Resident Evil: Biohazard" has played on the psychological front more than cheap jump scares. It is pure horror and not just action. The developers have also added four new fear factors to the game thereby improving manifold the experience of playing a game from first-person perspective.
