‘Battlefield 1’ Gets A New Path & A Lot Of Changes

“Battlefield 1” has had a good start and some amazing sales, but if it wants to keeps its players before the screens, it has to do a little more than that. This is why DICE have released the fall update to the game. What is there in the patch and how will it affect the game?

Game Glitz reports that one of the major changes in game "Battlefield 1" mechanics comes to the pioneering mode for the series, called “Operations”. In this mode, the map is divided into a few sections, which the defender has to keep away from the attacker for as long as possible.

Even though it sounds fun on paper, the offence in this mode shows to be titled in favor of the defenders, where attackers lose over sixty percent of the games. To counter this problem, DICE have increased the number of tickets which the attacking side gets and have reduced the time needed to capture a section. This is expected to make things easier for the attackers and even out the odds.

Additional information on the 1.9GB patch of the game "Battlefield 1" has been released by Gamespot. They announce that together with the changes on maps and modes, there have been balance reworks on the weapons too. As an example is given the sub-machine gun which has been given various forms of adjustments to make it a more reliable mid-range weapon. Additionally, there have been changes implemented in many of the gadgets and vehicles in "Battlefield 1".

Last batch of news on the behemoth November patch comes from Gaming Bolt. They announce that the character customization has been simplified and access to it has been eased. Now the players can access the customization screen through the UI itself. "Battlefield 1" players may remember the tough frustration of mid-game character customization where the player had to roam through a series of menus, to tweak his character a bit. What do you think about the new patch? Is it fair or does it overpower one of the sides in the conflict?
