Months after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt faced breakup, a rumor over Jolie and ex-lover Billy Bob Thornton is looming over the web. This is after Thornton released a statement which puts their close relationship into question.
Celebrity Laundry quotes Thornton when he said that Jolie and him are seeing and talking to each other occasionally. Fans of Angelina Jolie are taken by surprise by how Thornton is very open about his current communication with the newly-divorced actress. To recall, One of Jolie's noisiest and most controversial relationship is with Thornton. Back in year 2003, Angelina Jolie made it to the headlines for wearing a vial which contains Thornton's blood.
"If she needs anything, I'm here. And vice versa. And we both know that," says Thornton as quoted by Huffington Post. It has been thirteen long years since Angeline Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton broke up but it seems that the ex-lovers have still maintained their friendship over time. To recall, Jolie and Thornton's romance sparked when they were paired together in the "Pushing Tin" film back in year 1999. A year after the film was released, Jolie and Thornton got married.
Thornton even added a statement which confirms that he still cares for Jolie. "When you have a great friendship with somebody and you truly love each other, I don't think that goes away just because you have different ideas of how you're going to live your life," He said. While all these rumors are spreading around, it is important to note that Thornton is currently married to Actress Connie Angland.
Meanwhile, on a report released by Daily Mail UK, Thornton also expressed that he is open about the idea of working with Brad Pitt. According to the report, Brad Pitt is even on Thornton's top list of actors that he wanted to work with. "This might surprise people, but I'd love to do a movie with Brad Pitt," the actor said.
