"Kong: Skull Island" latest trailer was released via Tom Hiddleston during his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that featured the comedic side of the film and a lot of giant creatures. The Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. movie's official poster was also unveiled via Hiddleston's Twitter account.

"The Kong: Skull" Island is the recreation of the origin of the mythical creature Kong where it is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The adventure film features a group of explores in the 1970's that teamed up together to unravel some mysteries in the unknown islands in the South Pacific.

"Kong: Skull Island" is the second film of the Godzilla-Kong series produced by Legendary Pictures. According to ComicBook, the two monsters will come face to face in "Godzilla vs. Kong" in 2020 and the sequel to the 2014's "Godzilla" will be released in 2019.

The Project Monarch mystery might be the connection to the first Godzilla film to the recent film "Kong: Skull Island". In one of the marketing strategies of "Kong: Skull Island", Legendary Pictures leaked an "encrypted communication" in their official twitter account.

The so-called encrypted audio said: "Incoming Monarch Transmission: Sierra, Kilo, Yankee, Delta, Echo, Victor, India, Lima, Sierra," which spells out "SKY DEVILS". The audio abruptly gets cut off. Another encrypted folder was also unlocked that reveals a footage from one of the Monarch helicopters that were smashed by the "Kong: Skull Island" creature himself.

"Kong's always been a little bit tragic. You can't tell exactly from the still, but the way that he walks on the island, the way that he goes from place to place," said "Kong: Skull island" Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I wanted to communicate something about his headspace and about the way that, in certain ways, he's the protector of this island and then in other ways he's killing time," the director said.

Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston will lead "Kong: Skull Island" as they play Weaver and Captain James Conrad respectively. Toby Kebbell will also join the cast as Major Chapman, Tian Jing as San and Samuel L. Jackson as the Lieutenant Colonel Packard. "Kong: Skull Island" will be shown in theaters on March 10, 2017.
