Dishonored 2, the sequel to 2012's surprise hit was just release last November 11, 2017 and critics have been raving how it improves upon it's predecessor. The game available on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One is set fifteen years after the events of the first game after Empress Emily Kaldwin is deposed by "otherworldly ursuper." Players have the chose to play either Emily or her bodyguard and father Corvo Attano as the attempt to reclaim the throne. Just like the previious game, the Dishonored 2 let's the players choose how they tackle every mission, either through stealth or by eliminating every enemy, guns blazing. According to the site, the game successfully builds on the solid stealth-combat foundation of the first game while introducing new features and enhancements to keep the game fresh. Regarless of which method the player chooses, the game provides a rewarding experience with attractive skill upgrades. Despite having a lackluster story, the reviewer states that the game is a must play revenge tale among the best in its class.
Destructoid gave the game a lower score of 7.5 noting certain issues that plague the game. The reviewer has stated that the sudden framerate drops make the game harder to play since he tells that some of his deaths are caused by the drops.
