‘The Game Awards 2016’ Nominees Released; How Many Nominations Did ‘Uncharted 4’ Get?

"The Game Awards 2016" just listed all of the nominees in different categories. While a lot of beautiful and exciting 2016 video game titles are being honored, it is "Uncharted 4" that will be the award's most nominated game this year.

"Uncharted 4" is without a doubt one of the best games to come out in 2016. So it is no surprise that it will nab a few nominations for "The Game Awards 2016." What is amazing is the fact that it will grab a grand total of eight nominations spanning six categories. According to the official website of "The Game Awards", "Uncharted 4" can win the following categories: Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Performance (Troy Baker & Emily Rose), and Best Action/Adventure Game.

"Uncharted 4" is an action/adventure game by popular developer Naughty Dog. The game is a direct sequel to "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" and was released on May 10 of this year. The game follows Nathan Drake and his treasure hunting adventures. The game received critical acclaim upon its release with most critics commending the game's visuals and combat gameplay. A critic for popular gaming site, GameSpot, has this to say about the game:

"Uncharted 4 is a challenge to the medium. In its writing, in its design, in its understanding of what makes games unique, Uncharted 4 is something to aspire to. It's a shining example. And we'll be talking about it for years to come."

Other video games vying to beat "Uncharted 4" for the title of Game Of The Year award are "Doom", "Inside", "Overwatch", and "Titanfall 2." The winners of the different awards will be revealed on December 01, 2016.
