When the Android 7.0 Nougat got released last August, only a handful of android capable mobile phones were graced by the rollout. So, a lot of android users have already started wondering on when their phones will finally get the update. According to reports, these are the rumored release and updates on the different mobile phone manufacturers regarding the latest Android 7.0 Nougat.

Samsung

Samsung mobile phones are notoriously slow when it comes to getting the latest Android updates. Unfortunately, it does not seem like the company has any plans on remedying this. If past update timeframes are any indication then expect the Android 7.0 Nougat to arrive sometime in January 2017. Of course, the first handsets that will get the update is the company's flagship phone, the S7 and S7 edge.

LG

LG has been known to get a speedy update when it comes to getting the latest Android firmware. This fact is further cemented by the LG V20 getting the Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed upon order. The LG G5 and the LG G4 will follow suit right after that and the other headsets will receive updates until early 2017.

Motorola

The Motorola company has announced a slew of phones that are getting the Android 7.0 Nougat updates. Among them are the following: "Moto G (4th Gen), Moto G Plus (4th Gen), Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X-Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z, Moto Z-Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Play Droid."

Sony

The guys at Sony are normally a bit fast when it comes to rolling out Android updates. Expect the  Xperia Z3+,  Xperia Z5, Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia X, and other select phones and tablets in their Xperia line to have the Android 7.0 Nougat update before the end of the year.
