'Quantum Break' Developer Remedy Entertainment Is Teasing a New Game That Will Be Launched Soon

Max Payne games have been a commercial success and the company behind it is teasing a new game. The Finnish studio, Remedy Entertainment is also responsible for the "Alan Wake" series.

Remedy Entertainment is famous for creating games that are a bit strange and there is no difference in the 20-second teaser video that was just released. The teaser video is titled "The Greatest Trailer of All Time."

According to Polygon, Remedy Entertainment creative director Sam Lake presented himself in a selection of settings alongside an intriguing clip of Muzak at the end that appears like it came from the Wii Shop Channel.

Meanwhile, Microsoft Studios published Remedy Entertainment's latest project, the "Quantum Break", a time-bending action game. It was released in March this year for Windows PC and Xbox One.

Remedy Entertainment told Polygon earlier this year that it had created two separate teams to work on two different AAA titles. One is a new intellectual property but none is related to "Alan Wake" franchise.

It is expected that the new game's release should be sooner as Johannes Paloheimo, the studio's business director, already told Polygon that Remedy Entertainment wants to cut down the time frame between revealing and launching its games. "We don't want to take five years to ship a game. It's been a long process, trying to transition into a two-team studio, but now we can make more games faster and diversify both financially and creatively," said Paloheimo.

Remedy Entertainment Oy, internationally doing business as Remedy Entertainment Ltd., is a Finnish Video game developer based in Espoo, Finland. Founded on Aug. 31, 1995 by Future Crew, the company is best known for developing "Max Payne", "Alan Wake" and "Quantum Break."

Remedy Entertainment creates cinematic blockbuster action games that break media boundaries and push the envelope 3D character technology and visual effects.
