iPhone 7 Plus Explodes in South West China’s Yunnan Province; Apple Facing Heat?

An Apple iPhone 7 Plus has reportedly exploded in Yunnan province of South West China after it was accidentally dropped. The impact, as a result of the drop, caused the device to explode into flames. Smartphone explosion has become commonplace these days and Apple iPhone 7 Plus has also joined the list it seems.

If reports are to be believed, this is the fourth case of an iPhone 7 exploding. Even though it cannot be said that the iPhone 7 is as defective as the Galaxy Note 7, Apple must not take these incidents lightly and do something about it.

According to PhoneArena, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus emitted smoke and severe vibrations followed before its display shattered and detached from the body. The screen cracked as the battery exploded.

Digital Trends has reported that Apple is currently investigating the incident though it has not released any official statement yet. The company is sure to face a lot of heat if these incidents are reported more often. Details about the incident are scanty as only the photos of the iPhone7 Plus are making rounds on social media.

The photos indicate that the device may have caught fire as the internal plastic components appear melted completely. While these iPhone 7 exploding incidents cannot be actually compared to the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Apple may held responsible as no one would want their $770 phones to explode after the slightest drop.

In October, another iPhone suffered a battery malfunction and subsequently exploded. In a separate incident, an iPhone, connected to a charger inside a car, also exploded.

Users would want Apple to take these standalone incidents seriously and hopefully take adequate measure so as to prevent a repeat of such incidents that may turn devastating for people. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for the latest news and updates about the alleged iPhone 7 explosion!
