'Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon' News & Update: Nintendo 3DS Gears Up For Release; Game In Trouble?

Four months after the release of "Pokemon Go," "Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon," has been launched by Nintendo 3DS in Japan and the US. This coming November 23, "Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon" for the Nintendo's 3DS will also be released in Europe.

Nintendo, a Japanese multinational consumer electronics company that develops game consoles. The Indian Express report shows that company is engaged in developing, manufacturing, and distributing desktop and portable consoles and other related hardware and software components. It also offers entertainment products such as Family Computer (NES), Super Famicom (SNES), Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and Wii U. Nintendo.

This Japanese gaming giant has launched "Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon," the newest and hottest games in the series, in Japan and the US, four months after the release of Pokemon Go. The Official Pokemon Channel said launching is expected to create another big hit in the gaming industry as preceded by the worldwide Pokemon Go.

Nintendo's Sun and Moon sequels in the popular "Pokemon" franchise have handily beat 3DS game sales records and past Pokemon launch performance, beating previous entries X and Y by 150 percent. Overall, Sun and Moon shipped over 10 million units globally, which make them best-selling 3DS in the portable console's history.

The release of the seventh generation of the multi-billion dollar franchise, which has not launched any new games in the series since October 2013, go along with the 20th anniversary of the release of the original Pokemon video games and follows the spectacular success of "Pokemon Go," which has been downloaded over 500 million times.
