Apple Wants To Put Siri In Your iMessages; Use Semantic Analysis To Carry Out Tasks?

Apple wants to put Siri in your iMessages and will be using semantic analysis to carry out tasks. Apple's Siri lets Iphone users send Paypal cash via voice command. Someday you may have another participant in your group messaging chats.

An Apple patent application published recently describes how Siri could be summoned in. Any of the participants in a conversation can also choose to bring in Siri to help people with tasks.

Apple's Siri Could Be An Extremely Useful Accessory To iMessage

Once users direct a message toward Siri, it will be able to perform tasks, like reading through people's availability on their particular calendars or estimating how far people are from each other. In one case, a user asks, "Siri, when are we all free to spend a vacation?" and Siri answers back by searching theparticipants' calendars for similar availabilities and handing out a listing of possible times.

In another test, a participant said, "Siri, can you send Vanessa $500?" The assistant then pulls up a range of payment apps to choose from and asks for fingerprint authorization before making the transfer, as cited in Fortune. Participants, however, can choose to deny Siri's access to their personal information at any point. The very handy participant can also tell how long it will take for everyone in the group chat to arrive at a common destination.

Apple Hopes To Score Points With Users Who Evaluate Devices By Their Features

Apple's voice assistant Siri could be an extremely useful accessory to iMessage. With this special feature, a myriad of tasks will be taken off the load of the users once activated. Ease of access on certain tasks will be in the hands of the Apple users.

Techradar said that the patent traces on the likelihood of consenting users to "opt-in" or "opt-out" of permitting access to specific information. The feature could also still work even if it didn't have every bit of personal data at its fingertips.
