Android Nougat 7.0 which made its debut on Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL is still yet to be unfolded on other android devices. First on the lists of Android phones who experienced the Android 7.1 upgrade was Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, however, there has been a bit of a problem with the Nougat update on the said devices.
As it was previously reported on Gamenguide, there has been some missing features on the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X Nougat updates which are present on the Google Pixel version of Android 7.1. The instance was even called as a marketing strategy, saving some features for their own brand of Android smartphone. Android Nougat 7.0 is said to give an enhanced update.
On the other hand, Google stated that it was not a marketing stunt, but rather just a missing driver for Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X which made some features of Nougat not present on the update. Google promised that the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X would have the update next roll-out. Users are now waiting for Android Nougat 7.0 update for a better phone experience.
Meanwhile, Tech Times reported that Android 7.0 Nougat is to land soon on Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 as it is being developed. It is just recently that other Samsung Devices, such as Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7 Edge, and Galaxy S7 are now running the Android Nougat Beta program. Additionally, it is not yet to be confirmed whether the Nougat upgrade on the upcoming Samsung devices is beta program or not, only Google can give answers to that.
The release date of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 on Android 7.0 are still to be confirmed in the soonest time possible. Samsung users are definitely excited about the update which is most likely to be released in the early part of 2017.
