LG V30 Latest News and Updates: LG Might Drop the Secondary Display Feature With Its Upcoming V30

LG's V series; the V10 of last year and the V20 that was just recently released are recognizable with a lot of things and its secondary display is the most remarkable. The ticker allows switching over between apps and toggle quick settings.

The secondary display also allows personalizing the device and although many people like this feature, a famous leaker Evan Blass revealed on Twitter that LG is dropping the ticker with its upcoming V30.

According to 9TO5Google, the LG V30 is likely to be released until the last quarter of 2017 in the instance that LG would stick with its timeframe. While this would be the very first time that news about the LG V30 broke out, anything might change in the long run before the device's release since there's so much to design and test with its features.

On Twitter, Evan Blass tweeted: "Who would believe that I have early renders of the V30? Silly, right? I will say this: adieu, ticker." However, he then tweeted suggesting that LG is not getting rid of the second display feature. "Language is just so important. Found it interesting that many publications mistranslated this as "ditching the secondary display."

Whatever LG is planning on the V30, it must do well same as the LG V20 that was just launched in October this year in the United States. Since its launch, it has sold more than 200,000 units across the country.

Although the V20 is a bit different from the rugged appearance of the V10, it's relatively similar with its capabilities. The V20 is built up with a sturdy metal with detachable battery that houses a 5.7-inch QHD display, 4GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 820, 64GB of storage and a dual-camera on the back.
