‘Lucifer' Season 2 Spoilers, Cast Revelations: Tom Ellis, Chloe German Hint Lucifer-Chloe Romance

"Lucifer" Season 2 brings Detective Chloe Decker closer to Lucifer Morningstar. This is what actors Tom Ellis and Lauren German hinted during an interview.

Tom Ellis sat down for a quick chat about what is in store for his titular character in the upcoming episodes recently. The actor talked about Lucifer's relationship with his therapist Dr. Linda. He touched on the past episode, when Lucifer bared his demon face to Linda. He talked about the consequences of this decision, which fans already saw in "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 7 and 8.

Naturally, Dr. Linda did not take the revelation calmly at first. However, she slowly started to accept Lucifer's real identity (no metaphors this time) during their sessions.

In the same interview with Buddy TV, Tom Ellis talked about Lucifer's vulnerability. This subject eventually led to the mystery behind the devil's mortality when he is around Detective Chloe Decker. Ellis said that Lucifer Morningstar is generally vulnerable on Earth. He did not specify nor mentioned Chloe.

However, Lauren German cut in and teased a possible romantic storyline for Lucifer and Chloe in "Lucifer" Season 2. The tease started when German called Ellis physically attractive. The reporter asking the actress questions eventually asked if they would eventually become more than just work buddies on the show. Viewers can hear German in the video below, starting at the 2:15 mark, echo what the reporter said.

In the video, the reporter asked Lauren German if she hoped Lucifer and Chloe would "go there" (be intimate) in "Lucifer Season 2. Tom Ellis then replied, "That episode is coming up." Does this mean that fans will finally see the devil and the detective kiss?

So far, the recent episodes in "Lucifer" Season 2 hint the start of romance for the partners. It is clear in Episode 9 that Chloe is starting to develop romantic feelings for Lucifer, and vice versa. Regardless, fans will have to stay tune for more episodes to find out if Lucifer and Chloe will become intimate.
