Watch Beast and Magneto duke it out in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

It seems like it's every day that X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer is showing off set photos of his new film for his legions of adoring fans. However, the latest leak is a bit more substantial, and comes from a variety of devoted fans rather than Singer himself.

As shown off by Daily Mail, a variety of photos emerged from the film's shooting in Montreal, Canada. While fans got a quick look at Nicholas Hoult slipping back into his role as Hank McCoy alongside Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, these recent photos show McCoy in the form that most Marvel fans love him for: The blue monster known as Beast.

Beast is shown duking it out with Michael Fassbender's Magneto, presumably in the same location that Singer teased earlier. While there are only a handful of photos from the shoot, it's quite obvious that the two mutants aren't on very good terms, as Hoult can be seen practically drowning Fassbender in a park fountain.

Anyone who has seen the films predecessor X-Men: First Class shouldn't be surprised by this showdown. The final events of First Class show Magneto slipping into his iconically villainous role, and Hoult's Beast is one of the several mutants that decides to stay on the side of Charles Xavier. On top of that, Beast and Magneto have been rival mutants throughout decades of X-Men comics and the famous 90s animated series based on the characters.

Ever since images from X-Men: Days of Future Past began surfacing all over the net, we've seen Beast, Magneto, McAvoy's Xavier, and Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique. It's already public knowledge that characters such as Storm, Iceman, Kitty Pryde, and Rogue will be returning from the original three X-Men movies, and Singer will probably be as trigger happy with his camera phone once the likes of Halle Berry and Shawn Ashmore are on set.

Days of Future Past won't be out until July 2014, but fans have already enjoyed a healthy dose of set photos and character announcements. With plenty of time until the film's release and tons of characters to show off, who do you think Bryan Singer will tease next to the hordes of X-fans across the globe?
